Its really good to be out here starting to focus in on the World Championships. The last few weeks have been really busy so its nice to be out here and just focus on training. I woke up at 8:30 this morning and went to the cafe to eat breakfast.
The morning workout was good. Before practice I lifted weights. We started out practice with a team meeting. The main focus of the meeting was to welcome everyone to camp. Kevin Jackson, our national team coach, told us the plan for the day and then we got started.
We worked on some basic techniques. On our feet for a little while, then we worked on defense on the bottom and the clinch position for the rest of practice.
In the afternoon we got warmed up and drilled techniques on our own. Once we were warm we wrestled 10 one minute go's on our feet, 10 thirty second go's on the mat and finished with 6 thirty second clinches. After our live wrestling Kevin put us through some conditioning and a cool down.
I went to eat dinner after practice and just relaxed the rest of the night.
