July 27th

Today was a true day off.  I got up around 9 am.  I went to play golf.  I only played nine holes. I shot a 44, which is pretty good for me.  It was a great time.

After playing golf, I participated in a photo shoot with world renowned photographer Howard Schatz.   It was pretty cool.  He is publishing a book that is supposed to be out in 2002, and it will feature a bunch of athletes, both Amateur and Professional.  I am very thankful and very fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of this project.

After the shoot, which took a little over an hour, I came up to my room to relax.  At around 6:30 Brandon Slay and I went to dinner with John Rizzuti, who played a major role in advertising and promotions for the Olympic Trials in Dallas.  It was a good time.  I enjoyed spending time with them.

After dinner I came back to my room and just chilled out until it was time for bed.  It felt good to have a non active day.  I really believe that my body need to rest.  Tomorrow is the start of the next cycle, which is the last cycle for this camp, so it is really important for me to be as fresh as possible.
