This morning I was a little tired, but not to bad. I ate breakfast and went over to practice. I drill for a little while to warm up, then I went to lift. After lifting I went to eat again. I went to USA wrestling's office to do some stuff, then I came back to my room to relax and get ready for this afternoons practice.
This afternoon was tooooough. We warmed up and did so drills to get warm. They were drills, but the intensity was pretty high. After we warmed up we wrestled 12 one minute periods on our feet and 8 thirty second periods on the mat. I was kind of flat for the first couple of periods on my feet, but after the first couple I started to pick it up. I really tried to push hard and take a lot of risks, so I gave up some takedowns, but the over all the workout was really good.
After the live wrestling we did a 6 minute cool down/conditioning. I was really tired, but it felt good to push through a tough work out. The first day of a new training cycle is always tough, so I really can't complain about how I practiced.
Tonight we went to see The Nutty Professor II. It was hilarious. After the movie we went to Walmart to get some miscellaneous stuff, and I just came back to my room.
Overall a good day. 48 days...
