Today I woke up at 9 this morning. I went to the cafe to eat breakfast. After I ate I went to the weight room to meet Joe. We were going to lift before practice, but I took to long in the cafe talking to Lincoln Mcilravy and Brandon Slay. So we decided to lift after the morning workout.
The morning workout was short and intense. We warmed up and then Tom put us through some counter offense drills for about 30 minutes. I felt pretty good during the drills. When we were done, Joe and I went to lift. We had a good one and then went to eat lunch. While we ate we played dominoes. Steve, Joe, and I went to Wal mart when we finished playing. After we left Wal mart we went to Blockbuster and got a movie and came back to the training center. We watched the movie and then went to practice.
The afternoon workout was really tough. We warmed up on our own and then the world team guy had to pick 3 partners. The world team guy stayed in for 9 minutes with the other guys switching every minute. I wrestled with Joe, Kevin, David and Tolly Thompson. I did ok the first few, but after that I got pretty tired. The only thing I could do was try to hold position and not give up to many points. After we wrestled on our feet we did 9 forty second gos on the mat. I was on top for the first three and on the bottom for the next six. After the mat wrestling we did some sprints as a team and that was the workout. We were all pretty beat after the workout. Most of us took a while to get out of the room. I did some extra stuff, got stretched out and sat in the suana to loosen up. I showered and went back to my room. Steve, Eric and I went to eat dinner at the Outback Steak house. We wanted to get away from the training center and get some good food.
It was definitely good to get away and we had a good time talking and relaxing. After we ate we came back to the training center and watched tv and relaxed for the rest of the night.
