August 15th

Today I woke up at 9.  I went to the cafe to eat breakfast and went to practice.  Joe and I were going to lift before the workout. but we decided to do it after practice.  The morning workout was an open workout for the world team.  I warmed up and drilled some technique and positions with Joe for a while then we went to lift.

It was nice to have a lighter workout and be able to work on some specific things.  I went to eat lunch after we finished lifting.  We played a few games of dominoes in the cafe.  I did some laundry and hung out in my room playing video games until the afternoon workout.

This afternoon we worked out with the greco roman residents.  Mike Duroe ran the workout.  We warmed up and drilled on our own for about 10 minutes.  We got into 3 man groups and wrestled on the mat for about 20 minutes and then did about 20 minutes of clinches.  I wrestled with Matt Lamb and Cory Farkas.  We had some good go's.  It really helps to work on those positions with the greco guys.  We did some sprints and hand fighting after the wrestling for conditioning.

I felt good today.  I got stretched out after warming down, showered and went back to my room.  Jim Ravannack treated the world team and coaches to dinner.  We went to the Outback again.  Rich Bender, Mitch Hull, and Jeff Levitetz also came.  It was fun.

We did not got to eat until almost 8 so by the time we got back it was about 10.  I came back to my room, did some stuff on my computer and watched a movie.
