Today I went to New York to do a couple of interviews for some of the local media from around my home town. I know it was a lot for me to drive there just for the interviews, but it is important to me to try my best to keep the people back home informed with what I am doing. Its good for the community and for the sport, not to mention my high school.
After the interviews Dominic and I stopped at TW Promotions (Asics Suppliers) to visit with Nick Gallo, Neil Duncan, and Bill Farell. We also got to meet the secretaries, Barbara and Arlene. We hung out there for a while and went to lunch. It was cool to see the offices and the warehouse. Those guys have been great to me and the rest of the wrestling world.
We left the offices around 4 and headed back to Bethlehem. On our way back we stopped in Manhattan to visit one of my friends from college, Johanna Almanzar. She was working so we only stopped for a short time. There are a lot of people that I wanted to see, but I was really short on time so I could not see them all. Hopefully I will get back often enough to see them.
We probably could have taken more time to visit people because we ran into major traffic on our way out. It took us about an hour to get about five city blocks, and then we still had to get through the Linclon tunnel. So an hour and a half trip took about three hours, but it was worth the trip for what we got done.
Instead of coming home first, we went straight to the gym to work out. We drilled a little in NY for part of th interview, but we did not have time to get anything else done. When we got back here we lifted weights. I am glad that our weight room is connected to our locker room, because if it wasn't we would not have been able to lift today.
We finished lifting and came here and just hung out for the rest of the night. We have a pretty full day tomorrow, so I wanted to get to bed early.
