August 20

Today was pretty low key.  I got up at 8:30 this morning.  I checked my email and watched tv for a while.  I was not planning on getting up until around 11, but I got up early.  After sitting around for a while I went down to the cafe to get something to eat.  The food line was closed because they were changing from breakfast to brunch, so I came back to my room and went back to sleep.  Kevin woke me up a little after 11 and we went to eat breakfast.  After we ate we came back to my room to play video games.

We had practice at 1.  We warmed up and drilled technique on our own.  Coach Jackson told us specific things that he wanted us to work on, but we did them at our own pace while he watched.  Then we wrestled two matches and a sprint work out on the stationary bike.  I felt a little tired wrestling today, but that is expected on the third day of a cycle of training.  One of my goals for this camp is to try to improve my conditioning, so I can break my opponents at the Olympics, so I am really trying to push hard for the entire match every time I train.

After practice we hung out in the cafeteria and watched the PGA Championship.  It was great to see that kind of competition.  Woods and May played so well, and the way they kept recovering when it seemed like they were out was very inspiring.

We went to see a movie a little later.  We saw The Replacements.  It was hilarious, definitely one of the better movies I have seen in a while.  After the movie, we came back to the OTC.

I just hung out in my room for the rest of the night.  Tomorrow we have off from wrestling, so I am planning on lifting in the morning and maybe playing golf in the afternoon.
