This morning I was a little tired when I got up, and my back was kind of sore. I went to lift weights after stopping in the cafe to get something to drink. I had a good lift and went to get some breakfast.
After I ate, I ran a few errands, and went back to my room and slept. I slept for about 4 hours.
I felt great when I got up. I was ready to have a good workout. I went to practice, warmed up, and Bruce put us through some drills. After drilling we got in to three man groups. I had Chad Lamer 97 kg wrestler from the Hawkeye Wrestling Club, and Matt Brink in my group. The workout was 36 minutes of wrestling. In for two out for one, so basically each guy was wrestling for 24 minutes.
I felt the best that I have felt all camp today. I was moving well, keeping good position, and scoring. My counter offense was working well, and my defense was good also. After wrestling we did some motion drills and ran sprints in the room. The conditioning and sprints made me tired, but I felt great overall. I got stretched and showered and headed to the cafe.
The food in the cafe was not very appealing tonight, so I chose not to eat there. Brandon and I went to get some food a little later. We brought our food back to the training center and watched the Tiger Woods-Sergio Garcia match. It was fun to watch, but you could tell Tiger was not really himself, but he did put everything into it to try to win, but it just did not go his way.
After that I came back to my room and watched tv for the rest of the night.
Tomorrow is our day off, so I am going to lift, and get a massage, and relax all day. I may go to see a movie or go shopping or something to pass the time, but nothing that will cause me to expend to much energy.
One more day in the bank, and one day closer....
