Happy Birthday Cymberly.
(That's one of my sisters, she turned 21 today, boy that makes me feel
old.)
I woke up today around 10am. I knew that I had a bunch of stuff to do before I left, so it was good I did not sleep the entire morning away. I am working on some video editing for my web page and for Coach Strobel, so I started working on that after I checked my email and surfed the web for a while. While the video was converting, I took time to pay bills and clean up around the house. I also had to buy some food and go to the Post office. Then I packed for the weekend.
I went in to lift weights after I packed. I was a little tired this morning and it showed when I got into the gym. I pushed it hard, but I did not get the results I wanted. There are always days when you are a little off, and today was one of them. I will keep today in mind but not dwell on it. Tomorrow is a new day.
The drive to Pittsburgh was not to bad. It took about 4 hours and 45 minutes. I am here for the Shop and Save Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta, and from the looks of the city when I drove in the event tomorrow should be great. The day starts at 9 am and we have activities until around 11 pm, so it will be a full day. One of the activities will be a public autograph session from 2-5pm sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. I will have to make time to work out tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to go over to Pitt to workout. Sanshiro Abe, who was a college teamate of mine is the head assistant coach there so if I could get in touch with him I should be able to get over there.
